How do I manage my availability effectively?

Managing your availability is key to getting booked by learners at times that suit both of you. Here's how to manage your calendar efficiently:

  • Access Your Calendar: In your mentor dashboard, go to the Calendar section.
  • Set Available Time Slots: Define your working hours by selecting the time slots in which you'll be available. If you have regular availability, you can set recurring times (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM).
  • Manage Time Zones: Learninbox automatically adjusts session times based on both your and the learner's time zones. Ensure that your time zone is correctly set in your profile to avoid confusion.
  • Plan Vacations or Time Off: If you're going on vacation or need to take time off, block off those dates in your calendar. This will prevent learners from booking you during your time off.

Can I reschedule or cancel a session?

Yes, but it's essential to handle this professionally:

  • Rescheduling: You can propose new times through the calendar interface. Communicate with the learner using the messaging system to explain why you need to reschedule and offer multiple alternatives.
  • Cancellations: Try to cancel only when absolutely necessary and give at least 24 hours' notice. Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect your rating on the platform.
