Account Settings and Profile

1. Time Zone Settings

Adjusting Your Time Zone:

  • Log In to Learninbox: Sign in to your account using your registered email and password.
  • Access Settings: Click on your profile icon at the top right corner and select "Account Settings."
  • Navigate to Time Zone: Go to the "General Settings" or "Profile" tab.
  • Select Time Zone: Choose your current time zone from the drop-down menu. This ensures that all your lesson times and schedules are displayed correctly according to your local time.

2. Subscribing to Learninbox Calendar for Syncing Lessons

Syncing Your Lessons:

  • Log In: Sign in to your Learninbox account.
  • Go to Calendar Settings: Navigate to "Calendar" or "Sync" settings under your account settings.
  • Choose Calendar Service: Select the calendar service you use (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.).
  • Follow Instructions: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your calendar. This usually involves authorizing Learninbox to access your calendar and syncing your lesson schedule.
  • Confirmation: Once synced, you will see your Learninbox lessons appear in your calendar, and any changes will be reflected automatically.

3. Changing or Resetting Your Password

Changing Your Password:

  • Log In: Access your Learninbox account.
  • Navigate to Security Settings: Click on your profile icon and select "Account Settings," then go to the "Security" tab.
  • Change Password: Click "Change Password." Enter your current password, followed by your new password. Confirm the new password and save changes.
  • Resetting Your Password:
  • Request Reset: On the login page, click "Forgot Password."
  • Enter Email: Provide the email address associated with your Learninbox account.
  • Follow Instructions: Check your email for a password reset link. Click the link and follow the instructions to create a new password.

4. Notification Settings

Adjusting Notification Preferences:

  • Log In: Sign in to your Learninbox account.
  • Access Notification Settings: Go to "Account Settings" and find the "Notifications" tab.
  • Customize Notifications: Choose your notification preferences for emails and in-app alerts, such as lesson reminders, tutor messages, and platform updates.
  • Save Changes: Apply and save your changes to update your notification settings.

5. Privacy Settings

Managing Privacy Settings:

  • Log In: Access your Learninbox account.
  • Navigate to Privacy Settings: Go to "Account Settings" and select the "Privacy" tab.
  • Set Visibility: Choose who can view your profile and personal information. Options typically include "Public," "Friends Only," or "Private."
  • Adjust Settings: Control which information is visible to other users and adjust your privacy settings according to your preferences.

6. Blocking or Unblocking a User

Blocking a User:

  • Find User: Navigate to the user's profile that you want to block.
  • Block Option: Click on the "Block" button or similar option on their profile page.
  • Confirm Block: Confirm your decision to block the user. They will no longer be able to contact you or view your profile.
  • Unblocking a User:
  • Access Blocked Users List: Go to "Account Settings" and find the "Blocked Users" section.
  • Unblock Option: Locate the user you wish to unblock and click "Unblock."
  • Confirm Unblock: Confirm your action to restore the user's ability to contact you and view your profile.

7. Changing Your Learninbox Login Email

Updating Your Email:

  • Log In: Sign in to your Learninbox account.
  • Navigate to Account Settings: Go to "Account Settings" and select the "Email" tab.
  • Change Email: Enter your new email address and follow the instructions to confirm the change. You may need to verify the new email address.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email at your new address to finalize the change.

8. Adding Your Phone Number

Adding or Updating Your Phone Number:

  • Log In: Access your Learninbox account.
  • Go to Profile Settings: Click on "Account Settings" and navigate to the "Profile" or "Contact Information" tab.
  • Enter Phone Number: Add your phone number in the provided field and save changes. You may be asked to verify your phone number via SMS.

9. Stopping Sign-In with Facebook, Google, or Apple ID

Disabling Social Sign-In:

  • Log In: Sign in to your Learninbox account.
  • Navigate to Account Settings: Go to "Account Settings" and find the "Linked Accounts" or "Social Sign-Ins" section.
  • Disconnect Accounts: Click on the option to disconnect or unlink your Facebook, Google, or Apple ID. Confirm your choice.
  • Alternative Sign-In: You may need to set up a regular email and password login method for future access.

10. Deactivating Your Learninbox Account

Deactivating Your Account:

  • Log In: Sign in to your Learninbox account.
  • Access Account Settings: Go to "Account Settings" and select the "Account" tab.
  • Find Deactivation Option: Locate the "Deactivate Account" option and click on it.
  • Follow Instructions: Follow the prompts to confirm deactivation. You may be asked to provide a reason for leaving or confirm your choice.
  • Confirmation: After deactivation, your account will be disabled, and you will no longer have access to Learninbox. If you wish to reactivate it in the future, you may need to contact support.
